Carrie Woodward, M.S., BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Carrie Susa Woodward is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with an M.S., and is completing a PhD in applied behavior analysis.
Her work in autism began in 2002 at Pepperdine University. Over more than two decades since she has worked hands-on with hundreds of families on early intervention, and has contributed research to the journal The Analysis of Verbal Behavior.
In 2022 she stepped back to focus on her own family. Around the same time, watching a close friend struggle to get from a diagnosis to the actual start of treatment convinced her that the months families spend waiting are the ones that matter most. That gap is where she works now: with parents rather than in a clinic, teaching the strategies behind early intervention so families can begin using them at home straight away.
